Frequently Asked Questions

Guarantees & Customer Satisfaction

What is the Village Plumbing 100% Satisfaction Guarantee?

The Village Plumbing 100% Satisfaction Guarantee means that for the first year after service, if you are dissatisfied with the performance of your equipment, the services provided, or the personnel, Village Plumbing will make it right. This applies to all materials used and workmanship provided. Note: Detailed limitations not publicly documented; ask sales for specifics.

What is the 'No Surprises' Guarantee?

The 'No Surprises' Guarantee ensures that the price quoted for the work is the price you pay. Village Plumbing charges by the job, not by the hour, and there are no hidden fees or surprise costs. This guarantee is part of their upfront flat-rate pricing model. Note: Additional work outside the original scope may require a new quote.

How does Village Plumbing ensure customer service quality?

Village Plumbing technicians are licensed, insured, and background-checked. They treat your home with respect, wear shoe covers, clean up after themselves, and ask permission before entering rooms. The company commits to respect and courtesy at all times. Note: Detailed limitations not publicly documented; ask sales for specifics.

Warranties by Service Type

What warranty is provided for plumbing repairs?

Both tank-type and tankless water heater replacements include a 1-year parts and labor warranty. Additional manufacturer warranties may apply to the equipment. Note: Customer-supplied water heaters are covered for 30 days labor only.

What are the warranties for water service lines?

Water service line warranties vary by material: PVC lines have a 1-year parts and labor warranty, copper lines have 3 years, and PEX lines have 25 years (for installations after 10/1/19; previously 5 years). Note: Customer-supplied materials are covered for 30 days labor only.

What warranty is provided for gas line installations?

Galvanized, above-ground gas lines are covered for 1 year parts and labor. Poly, underground gas lines are covered for 3 years parts and labor. Note: Customer-supplied materials are covered for 30 days labor only.

What warranty is available for sewer line replacements?

Sewer line replacements are covered for 5 years parts and labor. The warranty does not cover roots in the line. Note: Customer-supplied materials are covered for 30 days labor only.

Individual HVAC equipment replacements (condenser, coil, or furnace/air handler) are covered for 5 years parts (Lennox manufacturer warranty) and 2 years labor. Note: Inspections and tune-ups do not include warranties or guarantees.

Are there warranties for HVAC system inspections and tune-ups?

For customer-supplied fixtures, tubs, sinks, toilets, water heaters, water filtration systems, and similar items, Village Plumbing provides a 30-day labor-only warranty. Parts are not covered. Note: This is a more limited warranty than for equipment supplied by Village Plumbing.

Pricing & Plans

How does Village Plumbing determine pricing for services?

Village Plumbing uses an upfront flat-rate pricing model. Customers receive a clear and detailed quote before work begins, and the price quoted is the price paid. Pricing is determined by the scope of the job, not by the hour. This approach is part of the company's No Surprises Guarantee. Note: Additional work outside the original scope may require a new quote.

Features & Capabilities

What types of services does Village Plumbing offer?

Village Plumbing provides plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services, including repairs, installations, and maintenance. Specific offerings include water heater services, leak detection, drain cleaning, AC and heating repair, generator installation, surge protection, and indoor air quality solutions. Note: Not all services are available for every property type; check with Village Plumbing for details.

What are the key benefits of choosing Village Plumbing?

Key benefits include comprehensive home services under one roof, upfront flat-rate pricing, exclusive Village Partner Plan for discounts and priority scheduling, licensed and insured technicians, advanced techniques like hydro jetting, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Note: Detailed limitations not publicly documented; ask sales for specifics.

Limitations & Exclusions

What are the main exclusions or limitations in Village Plumbing warranties?

Common exclusions include: no warranty for stoppages caused by roots, bellies, or broken lines; no warranty for A/C condensate lines; customer-supplied equipment is covered for labor only (30 days); and HVAC inspections/tune-ups do not include warranties. Note: For full details, consult Village Plumbing directly as some limitations may not be publicly documented.

Competition & Comparison

How does Village Plumbing compare to single-service providers?

Unlike companies that only offer plumbing, HVAC, or electrical services, Village Plumbing provides all three under one roof. This allows customers to address multiple home service needs with a single provider, saving time and reducing the need to coordinate with multiple contractors. Note: For highly specialized or commercial-only needs, a dedicated specialist may be more appropriate.

What makes Village Plumbing different from national chain home service providers?

Village Plumbing has served the Houston metro area since 1946, offering deep local expertise and personalized service. National chains may offer a wide range of services but may lack local knowledge and continuity. Village Plumbing's exclusive Village Partner Plan, upfront pricing, and satisfaction guarantees are tailored to Houston homeowners. Note: For customers outside Houston, a national provider may be necessary.

Support & Implementation

How quickly can Village Plumbing complete common services?

Most services are designed for efficient completion. For example, electrical panel replacements are typically completed in one day, while simpler electrical installations may take 1-2 hours. The actual timeframe depends on the complexity of the project. Note: Complex upgrades or coordination with utility companies may extend the timeline.

How can I schedule a service with Village Plumbing?

You can schedule services by calling (281) 957-6221, visiting the contact page, or using the online scheduling page. The process is streamlined with clear communication and reminders. Note: Availability may vary based on demand and service area.
